St. Cloud Financial Credit Union Announces New Marketing Manager

St. Cloud Financial Credit Union Introduces Mitchell Hansen, Marketing Manager

St. Cloud Financial Credit Union is proud to introduce Mitchell Hansen as the newest addition to the leadership team, joining the team as Marketing Manager.

Hansen brings more than 10 years of experience in marketing and communications fields to the organization. He has worked within both internal and external media, marketing and communications departments to go along with a background in journalism, digital content and social media marketing.

“I am thrilled to join the SCFCU family and to help contribute to serving members in Central Minnesota,” Hansen said. “The passion and vision of SCFCU — making a meaningful difference through human interaction — aligns perfectly with my mindset and goals both personally and professionally. I am looking forward to working together with our team to build even stronger relationships with our members and communities.”

Hansen holds BA degrees in Sports and Recreation Management and Mass Communications from St. Cloud State University. He spent the last five years working at St. Cloud State in its Alumni Engagement and University Communications departments. Prior to his time at St. Cloud State, Hansen served as the Director of Content Marketing and Media Relations with the St. Cloud Rox Baseball Club and was a news and sports reporter for the St. Cloud Times for six years.

“We are so excited about the level of passion and drive that Mitchell will bring to our marketing team,” said Chief Experience Officer Meggan Schwirtz. “His dedication to our local community and his pursuit for excellence is what makes Mitchell the perfect fit for St. Cloud Financial Credit Union.”

A native of Cold Spring, Minnesota and a current resident of St. Cloud, Hansen takes pride in being involved in the same community he grew up in. He has been involved with the Boys and Girls Club of Central Minnesota and currently serves as a Big through Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Minnesota’s Bigs on Campus mentorship program.

Hansen enjoys being outdoors, watching and attending sporting events and being around family, especially his six-year-old niece and two-year-old nephew.

“As someone who has grown up in Central Minnesota and still resides in the area to this day, I know just how special this community is and the great people who are within it,” Hansen said. “I look forward to forming new relationships and building onto existing ones with our community, partners and SCFCU staff to help make a meaningful difference for all.”
